The Harvard PTA sponsors, supports, and organizes many school programs and events throughout the year. To keep up with news and event dates, please sign-up here or check the PTA calendar. Most event news and dates will also be published in the Tuesday Home Communication folder.
PTA Programs
- Harvard’s garden and outdoor learning center in partnership with Urban Harvest
- School assemblies such as visits from Main Street Theater, Houston Grand Opera, Museum of Natural Science & more
- Library and literacy programs
- In-school community building service projects
PTA Events
- Annual PTA fundraiser (usually early in the Spring semester)
- Community building projects including Pre-K/Kindergarten summer play dates and mixer before the start of school
- Dad’s Club bi-annual outdoor movie nights
- December craft night
- Year-round teacher appreciation events
